The study of mathematics is mandatory from Kindergarten to Year 10.
The Mathematics faculty has responsibility for Mathematics and for Information Technology.
In Mathematics we offer all courses from Stage 4 (years 7 & 8) through to Stage 6 (years 11 & 12). In stage 5 we run substage 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 courses, whilst in stage 6 we run Standard Mathematics (previously General Mathematics), Standard Mathematics 1 & 2 at the HSC level, Mathematics (also known as 2 Unit) and Extension 1 and Extension 2 (HSC).
