Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

At Hoxton Park High School, my focus is simple: to give every student a quality education that builds their skills, talents and confidence. We want our young people to leave school ready for their future, with the knowledge, attitude and determination to succeed in whatever path they choose.

Our school is a learning community where teachers and students grow together. When teachers keep learning, students benefit and through strong role-modelling, our students develop a love of learning, independence and the courage to chase their goals and achieve their personal best.

We encourage students to take pride in who they are, set high expectations and value learning. They’re given opportunities to explore their interests, extend their talents and be supported every step of the way. We care deeply for every student and are committed to excellence. Our diverse and challenging curriculum helps our students move confidently into university, TAFE , apprenticeships and a wide range of careers.

We value strong partnerships with parents and the community, and we’re proud of the positive reputation our school holds. Quality teaching, leadership and strong student-support programs all play a part in this.

Our school takes pride in its rich cultural diversity, with over 85% of students coming from non-English-speaking backgrounds and more than 10 distinct cultural groups represented. We celebrate this diversity every day, fostering a community built on inclusiveness, respect, and mutual understanding.Hoxton Park High School is a vibrant school with great programs, dedicated teachers, enthusiastic students and supportive families all contributing to a strong, successful learning environment.

Our school values are embodied through the Hoxton Honour Code: Safe, Respectful and Active Learner. This is more than a code of conduct; it is our shared code of ethics, a promise we make to ourselves and to one another. It nurtures a culture where honour guides every choice, every action and every interaction. It instils a deep sense of honour that extends beyond the classroom. By living these principles each day, our students develop the character, responsibility and integrity needed to thrive in the real world and to lead with purpose, compassion and confidence.

We are committed to improving student learning while supporting the whole development of every young person. Alongside academic success, we encourage students to excel in the arts, sport, and a wide range of social and cultural experiences.

I feel fortunate to lead a school that nurtures growth, learning, and a strong sense of community.
