Year 11

Students complete 12 units of their choice with only an English Subject being compulsory. Within Stage Six students have the opportunity to partake in alternative patterns of study which include SBATs, TAFE Courses and Apprenticeships. It is also not compulsory for students to attain an ATAR (University entry) some students may choose to complete Year 12 to obtain a Higher School Certificate.

At Hoxton Park High School we cater to the learning style and needs of every student. Therefore, we offer many alternative patterns of study including:

-          Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) – both ATAR and Non-ATAR

-          School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT)

-          Languages – Delivered on Saturdays at NSW School of Languages

KEY SUPPORT STAFF

Students are able to approach any teacher at any time for support and assistance. Staff that liaise the most with Year 11 are the Year 11 Deputy Principal Mrs Jamal, the Year Advisor Mrs S Joseph and the Assistant Year Advisor Ms Wang.
