Construction - 240 hour
Course Description
There are many options for young people entering the building and construction industry. Students will be engaged in entry level activities that provide a pathway to the trades in construction.
Students who are assessed as competent in the 8 core and 7 elective units of competently will be eligible for a Certificate II in Construction Pathways CPC20208. Students who gain achievement in some of the above units will be eligible for a Statement of Attainment towards Certificate II in Construction Pathways. This certificate allows for inclusion of skills suited for entry to off-site occupations, such as Joinery, shop fitting, Carpentry, Bricklaying and other occupations in general construction.
Employability Skills learnt include communication, teamwork, problem solving, initiative and enterprise, planning and organising, self-management, learning and technology.

HSC Course Details
Duration: 7 Terms ATAR: Yes Workplacement: 70 hours
Students who do not meet these requirements will be `N` determined as required by the Board of Studies.
