Learning and Support Coordinator Role Statement
The Learning and Support Coordinator will:
- coordinate the Learning and Support staff, allocation and funding.
- coordinate Learning and Support Team faculty representatives.
- coordinate and chair meetings.
- lead and manage LaST, EAL/D teachers and SLSOs. They are to manage the timetable, professional development and use of the L&S members.
- develop the Learning and Support policies and procedures for students with learning needs.
- coordinate access requests for funding and transport.
- provide a clear system for keeping information on students. The records are to be kept in a secure environment with ease of accessibility for teachers.
- attend executive meetings are as representative of the faculty.
- support the professional development of staff and faculty members' PDPs
