Homework Centre
Hoxton Park High School has operated a Homework Centre for 10 years. The homework centre is available to a group of twenty four students every term for an eight week period (Week 2 – Week 8 inclusive). It typically operates on a Monday afternoon from 3.20 pm to 4.30 pm.
The centre's purpose is to help students who are serious about achieving high standards in their school work. They may work on their homework, school-work, assignments or revision in the library and will have access to books and the internet to help them research information and work on their tasks. Students who do not have subject related work to do will be required to undertake work on Mathletics.
The centre is supervised by teachers of Hoxton Park High School who are able to help with suggestions and advice.
If you would like your child to attend the Homework Centre for the eight week period, your child must collect, complete and return the student contract as their promise to adhere to the standards of the Homework Centre. The forms are available from Mr.V Sharma in the Learning Support Staffroom Monday-Friday during school hours.
