Work Experience is an opportunity provided to Year 10 students to further explore their desired career pathways. It is a week long experience of employment that engages students into developing enterprise (transferable) skills that are highly required in the workplace. The expectation of Work Experience is that students are to find their own Work Experience. This allows students to actively networking amongst local community members and learn how to professionally interact with others.
For students to participate in this program, it is highly advised to seek support from the Career Advisor to ensure the chosen workplace is suitable for the student and that the dates set do not clash with any assessment tasks or examinations.
The following documents below must be submitted to the Career Advisor 3 weeks prior to the Work Experience:
Teachers' confirmation (doc 869 KB)
Employer's letter (doc 873 KB)
