Career Classes:
Year 10 students will have Career classes once every fortnight. This lessons will be based on developing students' understanding of the working environment and how to be best prepared for this. This will include:
- Resume
- Cover letters
- Tax File Number
- Enterprise skills
- Work Experience
- Jobs of the future
- Financial management
- Subject selection
- Career pathways
Preparing for Subject Selection:
In term 2, Year 10 students are given the opportunity to explore their options for Year 11 and 12. This is an opportunity for your child/children to get a headstart in their career pathway. If they do not have one in mind, that is fine! The Career Adviser, Miss K. Ly, will be working with Year 10 on their Career Development Profiles and providing Year 10 students many opportunities to explore their options.
